    IMI presents: "Business Continuity Planning" Seminar (06/18/08)
    Location NKU Welcome Center, Highland Heights, Kentucky
    Abstract: Today, with growing organizational dependence on information technology and systems, the potentially devastating impact of man-made and natural disasters on business processes and financial & employee well being is now greater than ever. It is estimated that up to 80 percent of companies without a well-conceived and tested business continuity plan go out of business within two years of a major disaster. This session will introduce Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and then offer insights into how to begin the BCP process. This session will also define what business continuance is and what it is not along with discuss related areas such as BCP project management, disaster recovery, risk management, and business impact and recovery analysis.
